Challenges

GreatHorn is an emerging start-up in the email security software space. With new technology to improve anti-phishing for companies, I assessed the competition and their visual styles to identify a new direction for the brand. With an emphasis on dominance and utilizing existing brand colors of black and orange, I ensured that during the conferences the company attended this year that the visuals were enticing and unique on the floor. With a talented content and sales team to collaborate the company exceeded marketing expectations at all these events.

With footage captured by the team I edited together a quick over view of the success in progress at RSA in San Francicso, the biggest event for the company. Later in the year the team attended the Gartner Security Conference which needed a more visual and automated marketing approach, hence the need for a more streamlined messaging system.

The Gartner security conference had a different flow to the way potential leads approached the floor, much more streamlined. So another video was made, a simplified and fun motion graphic displaying the product and its user story.

Event Lead Gen Pages

To further prospective leads down the pipeline the GreatHorn team consistently put out events for those on the mailing list to jump into a zoom call or download a white-paper. The design challenge for this was to continue the brand messaging and provided opportunity to experiment with more intriguing visuals to be implemented in online brand assets.

Analyzing the forms of a GreatHorn owl provided plenty of inspiration, taking the shapes of the shield in the logo and creating feather like patterns for the backgrounds were subtle yet emotive.
